Description
The Big Rubber Foot is a high-performance, non-penetrating support base designed for rooftop HVAC equipment and pipework installations. Manufactured from dense recycled rubber, it features an extruded aluminum T-bar (strut rail) molded directly into the rubber, providing a secure, durable mounting surface without requiring any roof drilling.
This design prevents water infiltration, maintains roof membrane integrity, and reduces installation time on site. The compression-molded rubber naturally absorbs vibration generated by outdoor HVAC units, resulting in a significant reduction in vibration transfer to the building, decreased noise disturbance for occupants, and improved long-term system reliability by limiting mechanical stress.
The Big Rubber Foot is available in three lengths—8″, 16″, and 22″—to suit a wide range of applications:
8″ model: Ideal for pipework runs, conduit, cable trays, or as support under the four corners of small outdoor units.
16″ model: Commonly used in pairs to support mid-sized outdoor units or to carry larger pipework or cable trays.
22″ model: Provides maximum load distribution and stability, typically used in pairs for larger heat pumps or multi-line installations.
Engineered for durability and ease of installation, the Big Rubber Foot complies with current acoustic requirements and is widely adopted across the HVAC industry.
Key Features:
Heavy-duty compression-molded rubber minimizes vibration and sound.
Extruded aluminum strut securely bonded with industrial-grade adhesive.
Embedded hooks add extra anti-vibration protection to prevent strut disengagement.
Heavily textured, non-skid surface for enhanced stability.
Maintains roof membrane integrity—non-penetrating design.
Waterproof and impact-resistant rubber construction for reliable outdoor performance.
Integrated bubble level for faster and more accurate installation.
Environmentally friendly, manufactured from recycled rubber.
